Sarah Hadley

 

 

Sarah Hadley is a Los Angeles based artist and photographer who regularly uses collage and layering in her work to create narratives centered on female identity and memory. Originally from Boston, Hadley earned degrees in Art History and Italian from Georgetown University, and Photography from the Corcoran College of Art. She spent several years in Italy and the UK before moving to Chicago where she founded the Filter Photo Festival. Hadley has received grants from the Illinois Arts Council and Chicago Artist Foundation, as well as several Fellowships from the Ragdale Foundation In recent years, Hadley’s work has been exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries in the US, as well as in festivals in France, China, Australia, India and Portugal. Her work has been featured in magazines, blogs and publications worldwide and is held in public and private collections. In 2020, her first monograph Lost Venice was published by Damiani Editore.
